My 1st Time Making Cake Pops

I decided to make chocolate strawberry cake pop the "easy" way via the instructions from the YouTube clip from my previous blog post. To be honest, I think it's more hard than easy... there is just too much waiting time in between the steps. That is my opinion. In the end, I got lazy and just decorated one nice one and the rest I just threw these green sugar pearls on the cake pops. Taste-wise, it was pretty good, sweet and moist.

My 1st Eyelash Extension Experience

After reading Xia Xue's blog post on eyelash extension, I wanted to try and get a set done. I found a girl that offered a set of mink eyelash extension at an introductory price of $60. Misty and I decided to make an appointment for today to get them done... and it was just in time for her camping trip. It was about an hour for a set, which I dozed off a bit from lying there and and having my eyes closed the entire time. All and all, I'm pretty happy with the result and they look so natural too. It doesn't seem like it in the photos cause we used a cell phone camera. If you have eyelash extension, you are able to wear mascara if you like but they HAVE to be a water-based (oil free) mascara, and the same with make-up remover. I was told that water-proof mascara is not water-based, so don't use this on your extension! I totally forgot to take a before & after picture for myself. :-(

Must Stop Buying Shoes

I have quite a shoe addiction. I told myself not to purchase any more shoes this summer... I already brought 3 pairs this month! My latest purchased was made earlier today at Locale in TD Square. They were having quite a big sale, 50% to 70% off on everything. I couldn't resist and went to take a peep. I ended up buying a black Mel sandal (flip-flops) with small tassels for $10.50 from $45. Now is that not a good deal! Hahahaha.

 I also ended up buying the Gerri Medium Box Satchel in Taupe from Guess. I was debating between the color Stone or Taupe for a week before I made my decision. Stone would have gotten dirty very quickly since it was light in color and so I would notice it more.
